Aaron Cross is cut from the same cloth as Jason Bourne, he’s also in similar trouble. Hunted by clandestine CIA operations, our hero, along with a female companion, Dr Shearer, must make a desperate bid to stay alive long enough to discover why it is they’ve been marked for death. Despite the behind the scenes presence of Tony Gilroy this needless follow on to the Bourne Trilogy is a disappointment. Plenty of very slick action set pieces, but they’re retreads of what has already gone before, and the plot....ditto.
