When divorced mother Sarah and her teenage daughter Elissa move to a new town, they soon learn that their new home is located next door to a house in which a crazed girl bludgeoned her parents to death a few years previously. When Elissa befriends the surviving son of the family, Ryan, she discovers that there is more to the story than first meets the eye. Ok so this is a pretty generic premise, and there are some scarier films about, but there are a couple of nice twists and a well above average cast keeps it a good chug above the yawn.
