In 1958 Richie Valens was a poor seventeen year-old immigrant kid who'd fulfilled the teenage dream and become a major rock-star. This movie traces his meteoric rise to fame which ended so tragedly in a plane crash, along with Buddy Holly and the Big Bopper, and is memorable for its soundtrack.
