Dennis works on building sites and his mum operates a hair salon out of their family home. But times are tough, what with work drying up and bills continuing to go unpaid. When the bank forecloses on his family home he's forced out with nowhere to go, no money and no work. The man who evicted him offers him work fixing up the homes of others who have had a similar thing happen to them. It's a moral quandry and an unfortunate loop. A heavy-handed study of the thing with some pretty poor filmmaking - the almost constant score provides overwrought emotional cues and the incessant dissolves do little to liven things up.
