A former 60s radical and civil rights lawyer, who now makes a living defending mid-level drug-dealers, is inspired by a young "suit", who admires his once great speeches, to re-open the case of a Korean convict, a procedure that involves taking on the entire legal system and is an ideal outlet for his liberal leanings.
