Monroe plays a divorcee living in Reno whom a bunch of emotionally crippled cowboys fall in love with and fight over. A pedigree anti-Western which combines an award-winning script by Arthur Miller, one of the greatest film directors of all and three great stars, for all of whom this would be their last completed film.
