A ravishing, intelligent and passionate melodrama. Don Astarloa dedicates his life and spirit to fencing, eschewing the turbulence of court politics. When the mysterious Adela arrives and asks him to teach her he, at first, refuses, but a demonstration of her skill has him chomping on his moustache. However she has another in her sights. Superb!
