An intriguing Hindi film of a young village girl kidnapped on the eve of her wedding, her subsequent escape and friendship with an itinerant transvestite. Dressed as a boy for protection, the two explore sexual role-playing in both an Indian and more general context, as they travel the roads back to her home village.
