It takes dedication to watch two feature length Ace Ventura films in one go. So credit to you if you hire this double-bill featuring the infamous Jim Carrey and his cartoon expressions. Ace Ventura Pet Detective is set apart by Carrey's performance from the usual run-of-the-mill kids comedies in his first major hit. The sequel was never going to follow the success by sticking to the same formula, but it's nonetheless entertaining and Carrey is in fine form. A must for Jim Carrey fans.
