Five very different kids arrive at high school one Saturday morning to do a nine hour detention during which time they must write an essay titled "Who do I think I am?". At first, they argue and hate each other, but after smoking some marijuana, they pour their hearts out to each other, and tell about their fears, secrets, and their deepest emotions, and problems.
