When Janey Glenn moves to Chicago she's scared that she wont make any friends. When she gets up in front of the class at her new Catholic school and tells them she 'loves to dance' she makes a friend for life in Lynne Stone, the class clown/bad girl. Both loving music and Dance TV, a locally produced dance show, they decide to audition for a spot as regular dancers.
