Devilishly dark yet supremely silly comedy, starring Britain's own Lee Evans as one half of the Smuntz brothers, new owners of a crumbling old house left to them by their late pop, which just might be the answer to their dire financial embarassment. What they haven't banked on is the presence of a sqeaking squatter, a mouse with a mission who's not going to give up his tenancy without one humongous fight! The pairing of Evans and Lee is pure genius, and Christopher Walken is reliably maniacal as rat-catcher Caesar, but there's no doubt it's the rodent who runs away with the show. Brilliant!
