Emir Kusturica directs this beautifully shot saga about Perhan, a gypsy boy who leaves behind the moral stronghold of his grandmother and gets into trouble. Under the influence of the powerful Ahmed, Perhan and his sister head to Italy taking them further away from their roots and towards tragedy. A rare treat!
