Passionate period drama with Minnie Driver as a well-heeled young lady, Rosina da Silva, who's forced to do some work for a change when her father is murdered, leaving the family penniless. Disguising her privileged Jewish background, she travels to the remote Scottish home of the Cavendish family to work as a governess.
