Superbly shot black comedy featuring two hitmen (a genius coupling of Mantegna and Rockwell) and their developing, marriage-like relationship, over the course of passing years and numerous corpses. Dispensing with well-worn underworld-life cliches, the emphasis here is on the familiar normality of your average assassin, refreshingly portrayed as a guy just doing his job, no malice intended.
