British rom-com musical starring Hugo Speer ("The Full Monty") as an innocent ex-con Martin, who comes home to Sheffield to find that his girlfriend Joan (Lisa Stansfield) has married the cop who nicked him. To make matters worse, even his parents can't be arsed with him. Inspired by his ex-cell-mate and saxophone coach, Martin decides to take control of his life, and hopefully get his girl back, by setting up a swing band consisting of a Manchester Utd wannabe, an ex-National Front bansman, and a bunch of trumpet-playing Orangemen.
