A mish-mash of a movie, following several seemingly unconnected characters through their individual stories which, eventually, all turn out to be inter-related. The lengthy cast of characters do, however, have something obviously in common: they're all improbably good-looking, irritatingly wealthy, and deeply unlucky in love, apart from Jay Mohr, who's dying of AIDS. Slightly self-conscious, and not a patch on Robert Altman's not dissimilar "Short Cuts".
