It is the summer of 1936 and Spain is about to be plunged into civil war, but for 8-year-old Moncho life is just beginning and in his new teacher he finds a soul mate who shares his fascination and passion for insects. He makes a good friemd and accompanies his brother om a trip. But as the war spreads across the country his childhood is put under threat as the community becomes torn apart by fear and hate.
