The film follows the lives of six Parisians whose lives and stories intersect; Nicole and her unemployed drunken fiancee Dan, their estate agent Thierry, his religious assistant Charlotte, who works as a part-time carer for suave bar-tender Lionel's bad tempered father and Thierry's sister Gaelle.
