Outrageously over-the-top, if atrociously dubbed, rehash of Daniel Lee's 1996 martial arts blockbuster. Jet Lee (the current kung-fu wunderkind) plays Tsui, an almost super-human member of China's elite 701 squadron, an ass-kicking masked menace with nerves of steel and a violent aversion to anybody not minding their Ps and Qs. Wesley Snipes may well be the only bloke in the world who could successfully pull off the roll of an ass-kicking, law-enforcing vampire hero, but he manages it with bucketloads of charisma in this entertaining nonsense. While in search of revenge a mysterious drifter/ex-con becomes seemingly ensnared in the seedy world of underground street-fighting. But it soon becomes clear he has a far grander plan for retribution than a bit of fisty cuffs. 'Blood and Bone' is a nicely choreographed series of martial arts fights though as a story it's slightly less impressive.

1905; Chinese revolutionary Sun Yen (good guy) intends to journey to British run Hong Kong to further plans for a revolt against the dying Qing dynasty, but the Empress Dowager Cixi (bad person) sends assassins who bump off, or kidnap, his colleagues.
