Jimmy is a man with a mission - to bring soul to Dublin, so he advertises in the local paper and assembles a band, but as they start to earn on-stage success it becomes marred by their personal rivalries. A superb film - witty, well acted and hugely enjoyable even if you don't like sweet soul music.
