A middle aged architect who finds he has only a limited time left to live decides to pull down and re-build his house; A decision that becomes a none to subtle analogy for what takes place between himself and all those he holds dear. Life As A House is not a remarkably original drama but it is impeccably performed and has much wit and pathos.
