Joe Bowers ain't the sharpest tool in the shed, but when a government hibernation experiment goes awry, Bowers awakens in the year 2505 to find a society so dumbed-down by mass commercialism and mindless TV programming that, comparatively, he's not just a positive treasure trove of information but humanity's only chance of keeping Darwin's theory of evolution on the straight and narrow. From Mike Judge, one of the creative minds behind Beavis and Butt-Head, King Of The Hill and Office Space, 'Idiocracy' is a likeable comedy, though it lacks the biting satire that one might have hoped for.
