Academy Award winner Al Pacino plays Manglehorn, an ageing ex-con locksmith who has loved, lost and now locked up his life for good. Bitterly disenchanted and alone, he stubbornly refuses to let go of the past, even once he meets Dawn (Academy Award winner Holly Hunter) and has an opportunity for a new beginning. But whilst he might be finished with life he soon finds out it hasn't finished with him just yet. Director David Gordon Green (Joe) delivers a beautiful portrait of life's latter years complimented by one of the most rich and subtle performances from Pacino in years, all signalling Manglehorn as a future American indie classic.
