A stunningly cinematic film starring Mireille Perrier as France who returns to her childhood home, the Cameroons and recounts her childhood in flashback. In particular, she recalls the plane crash that shattered her idyllic life as a district govorner's daughter. When her family take in the survivors to their house, chaos ensues. A wonderful and engaging film.
