Based on a true story, Rubin "Hurricane" Carter is a promising young boxer framed and imprisoned for a brutal murder. Locked up and all but forgotten for nearly twenty years, a young boy comes across his autobiography and so rekindles the fight for Rubin's freedom. The Hurricane is a powerful story of the human spirit and the struggle for justice, in turns angry and joyous, this is a fine film.
