A young boy is killed by a hit and run driver, and the father, Charles, is consumed by the desire for revenge, in his quest for justice he stumbles across Paul Decourt, a seedy and vicious individual, and it is not long before Charles realises he has found his murderer. This Man Must Die is a beautifully filmed and intense drama, thought by many to be one of Chabrol's best works.
