Judith is on holiday in Barbados when she meets the charming Feodor and romance quickly (but tastefully) blossoms. Back in Britain the government gets wind of their liaison and panic spreads, for Judith is an employee of the foreign office and Feodor is second in command of the Russian KGB.The Tamarind Seed is a slightly dated but still highly entertaining mixture of romance and thriller.
