It's Christmas Eve 1944 and Elizabeth has taken her children to the family lodge deep in the Ardennes in the hope of providing them with a celebration away from the horrors of war. Elizabeth's hopes are shattered when three wounded American soldiers arrive closely pursued by three Germans. But can she successfully convinces the soldiers to put aside their differences for one evening and share a Christmas dinner! What follows is a story of friendship in the most unlikely of circumstances, and the courage to see past the enemy to the individual underneath.
