The ‘It' in question is some hitherto mythical sand fairy that five children reminiscent of an Enid Blyton tale discover on a beach. The cantankerous wee beastie grants the children a wish a day that lasts till sunset, but they soon find that a badly thought through wish can just be a very nicely wrapped disaster. An old fashioned, peculiarly British children's adventure, that's not without charm. find out more...
