Writer/director Justin Kerrigan's debut follows half a dozen Cardiff clubbers through one frenetic, drug-fuelled weekend. Unfettered by anything resembling a plot, the film concentrates instead on the motley assortment of characters, including love-hungry raver Jip, whose tackle, unfortunately, just isn't larging it lately. Much of the dialogue grates profoundly on the nerves, but the film really kicks off when it hits the dancefloor. Stylised and often self-concious, but very amusing in places. find out more...

Life in a trailer park can be tough, especially when the trailer park supervisor and his shirtless sidekick have it in for you. It certainly makes trying to evade being sent back to prison (whilst trying to make a living out of growing dope in your car) a bit of a trial. 'Trailer Park Boys' is a character-driven Canadian mockumentary, tragic and gentle in its brilliant and charmingly comic, satiristic treatment of trailer park life. find out more...

A tour de force of twisted weirdness, gonzo journalism and mutated nastiness, plus a bit of fear and loathing. Based on the writings and real life exploits of 60s journalist Hunter S Thompson. It's all here, the copious drink, the superhuman drug intake, and the wind-ups shot at whatever symbol of authority Thompson considers as fair game. Excellent. find out more...
