THE CLIENT (1994)
Certification15 Our Rating
The best adaptation so far of a John Grisham novel. Newcomer Renfro is exceptional as lawyer Susan Sarandon's 11-year-old client, who has witnessed the death of a a Mafia attorney and has heard more than he should, while Tommy Lee Jones is superbly sinister as the hard bitten prosecutor determined to find out what he knows. Slick legal thriller/escapist entertainment.
