It's the off-season at the lonely Beauregard Hotel in Bournemoth, and only the long-term tenants are still in residence. Will's life is stuck in a rut, and everyone seems to be leaving him behind. One night he's bitten by a wolf and his life begins to transform. At first the changes are positive: he regains his 'killer' instinct (metaphorically speaking) at work, but then more primal urges begin to surface. Good fun. Plus a great dark turn from Spader as Will's nemesis lifts this movie above being simply watchable.
