Set during the Ming Dynasty in China, the young Emperor and his sister Wushuang ache to escape the yoke of their position. Li Yilong and his sister Phoenix are from the other end of the social spectrum but all four have one thing in common, they are destined for each other. When the two royal siblings escape the palace all manner of foolishness ensues; gender reversal, comic delusion, misunderstanding and physical farce are but a few of the problems facing our heroes in their quest for love.
