Max is a ten-year-old outcast who escapes his lonely world when his dreams magically come to life. Max and his two imaginary friends, Sharkboy - a half-breed of boy and shark - and Lavagirl, with flaming hair and hands that melt everything she touches, embark on a mission to prove to the world that all it takes is a dream to make anything a reality. Another small fry super hero adventure from Robert Rodriguez, very much in the same vein as his Spy Kids movies, but not quite as good.
