1.13 – A 12 year old boy is admitted with pneumonia-like symptoms and a nasty looking rash, the patient thinks he's been cursed for using a Ouiji board but House looks for a cause that is closer to home. 1.14 – House's job is on the line when the clinic's new Chairman decides the team is too expensive and he has to treat a paralysed patient using less than orthodox means. 1.15 – With his job still under threat, House has to discover whether a former mobster is faking illness to avoid testifying in court. 1.16 – With the sword of Damacles hanging over one of the team they have to deal with two weight-related puzzles, one is a child who suffered a heart attack after eating diet pills and the other is a woman who refuses surgery to remove a tumor because she doesn't want to lose the weight.
