Up to their tricks again Jigsaw and his apprentice Amanda kidnap a brilliant but world-weary Doctor to tend to the ailing psychopath, keeping him alive until his final game is played out. The unwitting player in this game is Jeff, a man consumed by revenge and hatred since the death of his son in a car accident. As you will have come to expect Saw 3 has plenty of gore and gruesomely inventive deaths and there are some interesting flashbacks to the events of the preceding movies that add a touch of depth. If sadistic, bloody, visceral violence is what you're after than Saw 3 has that in spades. Good fun and, in this reviewer's humble opinion, better than the first two.
