It is summer in Santiago and architect Tristan's life is falling apart; his girlfriend leaves him, his job is interrupted by a strike and his suitcase is stolen. On the other side of the railway tracks, Christina's quiet life is changing; she finds the suitcase inside a garbage can and enters Tristan's world through his big headphones, smokes his cigarettes and becomes a silent witness to his downfall.
