A sexy celeb hypnotist, an advertising executive, whose off the wall commercials make her, and her alone, giggle uncontrollably, a man who thinks he's a bird, a man who just can't seem to successfully kill his wife, plus three slightly crazy, but entirely lovable, youths, oh yeah, and Vinnie Jones, make up the cast of this wacky and wonderful story about survival within contemporary Japanese society and its changing culture. With what I can only describe as the most stunning and fantastically intricate mise-en-scene I've seen in years, great performances all round and an unlimited artistic imagination matched only by a wondrously wicked humour, 'Survive Style 5+' is a Japanese Art House gem.
