A group of five mountaineers are climbing in the remote Scottish Highlands when they make a disturbing discovery: a young girl buried in a small chamber. Still alive but dangerously dehydrated the group decide to get her to the nearest town, but the young girl’s kidnappers are soon on their trail, and to these men life means nothing. A Lonely Place To Die starts out nicely as a dark, edgy and fast moving chase movie, but as the death count piles up so does the implausibility and by the end everything has got pretty incoherent.
