Best screenplay British film awards 1990, and critically acclaimed. A leading American scriptwriter arrives in foggy 1950s London and gets a job writing a screenplay for "Robin Hood", a telling metaphor for the Macarthyism that exiled him and drove friends to suicide. Well made and original.
