Acclaimed director Szabo imparts real warmth to a downbeat story of post-communist Hungary. Emma and Bobe are two girls who move to Budapest in search of a living, and are forced to live by their wits in a rough area of town. Their friendship provides relief from the grind of life. Excellent drama.
