Irvin Welsh has adapted his bestselling book 'The Acid House' into a screenplay for the film. 'The Granton Star Cause', 'A Soft Touch' and 'The Acid House' are the three short stories featured, with ex-Trainspotters Ewen Bremner and Kevin McKidd in starring roles. There's plenty of vulgarity, swearing Scots and a good soundtrack (sound familiar?!). Unfortunatly, this is not in the same league as Trainspotting by a long shot. The clever marketting disguises a weak and not very entertaining film.
