Meanwhile, Worf and Ezri are charged with war crimes and are about to be sentenced to death in a Cardassian Court. In "The Changing Face of Evil" Sisko and his Federation fleet limp home after being defeated in a key battle by powerful Breen weapons. Realising they are outclassed by the superior weaponry, the Federation joins forces with the newly-formed Cardassian underground. Meanwhile, Kai Winn and Dukat try to decipher an ancient text that has the power to unleash the evil of the Pah-wraiths on the people of Bajor.
