A storyline about indentured Chinese labourers struggling to establish a Chinatown in New York with a brief prolofue in China and a flashback to Japan to establish our hero's kung fu credibility. A Man Called Hero has some stunning fight sequences and is one of Honk Kong's highest ever grossing films.
