Very bad baddies, huge ravenous lizards, and giant mushrooms are just a taster of the goodies on offer. There's also a bit of effective sexual symbolism, in typical Hollywood style, which greatly enhances the syrupy romantic subplot. Jane Austen's classic novel about true love amongst the privileged and beautiful gets yet another big screen adaptation. Lizzie Bennet is suitably feisty, Mr Darcy is suitably aloof and brooding and all looks deliciously lush and halcyon.
