Howard Roark is a man amongst men, so sure of his beliefs and ideals that nothing will divert him from what he believes to be right. When Roark's architectural plans for a housing project are altered beyond recognition he vows to fight in every way available to him, and whether it be dynamite or the spoken word he will make people listen. The Fountainhead is adapted from Ayn Rand's novel, and remains, despite being over half a century old, a searing, yet redemptive, drama about morality and one person's ability to make a difference. Bizarre and berserk neo-Nietzschean philosophy.
