A nutty mother of two girls (Cher) is so paranoid of emotional commitments that she packs her bags whenever she feels threatened. Her teenage daughter's desire to become a nun, although she is Jewish, now seems less attractive than their new neighbour, a hunky handyman. Humorous well acted drama.
