Remake of the French classic. Adjani plays the downtrodden wife of a sadistic headmaster, who enlists his feisty but equally fed-up mistress (Stone) to help get rid of their tormentor once and for all. But when his corpse disappears their nightmare's just beginning. Creepy and atmospheric.
