An action movie that also plays as a satire on the double standards of the Allies during the Gulf War; in particular the plight of the Kurds. A group of American soldiers go AWOL in search of a stash of hidden gold and find themselves doin' good for a band of refugees desperate to escape from Iraq. 'Three Kings' is an enjoyable if slightly confused movie, you can't help wishing they had gone for either action or satire, rather than attempting to squidge the two genres together. But, nevertheless, it's stylish and well-acted. Congratulations: Your vote has been cast
